Fact Finding on Pasta

Pertaining to the issue of the Heinz Pasta which I prepared for Oscar, herewith some "fact-finding" to share.

After chit-chatting in MP Forum - Pek-Pek Club on my failure on this Pasta, mummy Carol did shared with me that this sauce I used (Heinz - Mum's Recipe RM4.90) is oily & might not suitable for baby. She also suggested to use the "white sauce" or "pumpkin sauce" which special mention on this Pasta's "cooking instruction".

I was not able to get ths 2 sauces because it was out of stock. Since I am so eager to cook this pasta for Oscar, without second thought, I get this Heinz Sauce - Mum's Recipe (Creamy Pasta Tuna sauce), which stated suitable for 7mths+++.

I am just thinking that if I use the white sauce/pumpkin sauce which special design for this Pasta, then Oscar might not gone through all the terrible experience. If this really the real fact, then this title should change to "Fault Finding".

I never cook the sauce. After the pasta boiled in water for 15min, I just dry it, then I put all the sauce on top the pasta, then I use Microwave to heat for 5min. I think this is the main cause on Oscar diarhhea. How can I prepare baby food with MICROWAVE? I really upset on my wrong doing! This is another "Fault Finding".

My personal opinion:
The sauce looks oily & maybe Oscar's little stomach not get use to all this 'high end' baby food yet. As his daily main recipe is nanny's nutricious porridge & butterscoth bread as his snack/tea break.

But I did let Oscar try on outside food - Pizza Hut's chicken pasta for few time but he is fine with it.

I always said myself is an idiot in kitchen. This pasta is another proven result on my 'idiot in kitchen' theory. I do not know when... I can become an "Ideal in kitchen"?!

My first pasta

This is the pasta I cooked for Oscar - Heinz.

Outcome: looks ugly; too watery

Result: Pity Oscar diarrhea for 4 times & vomitting for twice after took this pasta.

I really very upset on my mistaken. I cooked the sauce 'Heinz - Mum's Recipe (Creamy Tuna Pasta Sauce)" with microwave for 5min. I thought that sauce are 'cooked' & I just need to warm it up to served.

The result telling me that I am very wrong. Oscar got his stomachead after 3 hrs, he cried in pain & I felt that his hands & feets are cold... he sweating a lot - cold sweat.

"Sorry darling! mommy just wish to let you try on something new on your recipe but make you go into all this. Mommy really feel heart sick. Lucky you just took for few tea spoon... mommy can see you not really like it. If you finish up the whole bowl... I can't imagine what will going on..."

I can't stop blaming myself on this mistake & I keep telling myself that: No more second time.

My First Study Set

This is the study set. We get at Carfour last weekend with RM59.90 (Normal Price is RM99.90)

They are doing promotion for last 3 sets. We manage to grab one. So lucky!

This is my Ah-Kong, he is fixing the table & chair for me. I am observing how Ah-Kong screw & fix the chair. I am learning. I think I love mechanism work...

I am looking at my ah-kong & ask him that:"huh? is that mean I need to start 'Study' now? When I am just 13mths & 2 weeks old? stress man! huh!"

Starting my first chapter.... few chapter to go! The final exam is coming soon.... tension look?

This is the table surface. Let me introduce: That is ABC vocab & 123 number on it.

Example:

A for Apple; A untuk Ayam; it also have the chinese character too for Apple & Ayam.

1 = One Bird / Satu Burung; it also have chinese character for Bird & Burung.

2 = Two Chairs / Dua Roti; it also have the chinese character for Chairs & Roti.

Note: The table surface can "open" up & keep my books inside. Great design!

Drum Drum not Dumb Dump!

This is my birthday present from Anty Regine!

Anty Regine, Thank you very much! I loves this Musical Spinning Drum very much! WHen I hit it, I can see the colorful bright lights & the drum-sound; when I spin it, I can listen the nice disco music. I also will shake my head, shake-shake head & body when the drum is spinning!

Tell you what, my mommy try to find this drum for me for almost 5mths... after I first saw this drum & play with it at your house. That is En-En koh koh's drum. I like it very much.

I know that mommy really tried her best effort to find the drum for me, from Johor to KL, from KL to Klang, from Klang to Puchong... every Tesco we went, only left those defects unit. The drum was damaged or crack or no music.

I can felt the disappointment on mommy face. Thanks mommy I love you so much!

Finally, I got drum-drum from Anty Regine! Mommy very 'sayang' this drum, he ask me must handle with care. Everytime if the drum drop on floor when I carrying around, mommy will said:"Oscar, is drum-drum! So please don't play like dumb dumb or dump dump!"

hahaha... but I can not understand what my mommy's mean... I only know that I love this Drum-Drum very much!

F1 - 'Alonso' Oscar

This is the 'F1' at Jusco Tebrau City. Mommy saw the ING group was launching of a new investment program at the lobby, they organized some activities there for kids's fun activity! Mommy & daddy was attract by this F1 car.

Mommy & daddy are so keen & eager to put me on the F1 & have a ride on it. Well... It looks great! F1! Cool! Daddy hold me & put me on the F1 & he smile at me:"Oscar, let's have some fun! hoho! junior Alonso!"

'Alonso' is the word which daddy always shouting when he was with the Sports channel. I don know what is so call 'Alonso' but I believe it must be something great!

Mommy was holding the camera, standby for a nice shot! Then the uncle (ING sales executive) on the power button of the car to make it move. I am on F1... BUT... but... sorry dad & mom! I... I not really like this F1... I don like the F1 moving around.... stop it! stop it! I give up in 10 seconds! I don't think I like it! I... I wanna 'jump out' from this F1! I saw daddy 'fly over' to hold me & mommy was shouting the ING uncle to stop the car.

Then... this 4 pictures as shown above was took after the F1 stop & parking aside. I felt so much better now! I am sure that mommy looks so disappointed on my reaction on this F1 because she not able to snap any cool-pix which I was on the ride...

This is my birthday present from my beloved daddy... he bought this for me 2 weeks after my birthday! huh?? I know you sure will ask me WHY? WHY after 2 weeks? hohoho! because my dad forgot to buy me birthday present when we was in KL for the celebration.

Luckily my beloved mummy helps me to remember! If not, I think daddy will also like Barney "play pretend" & forget huh? hahaha... I heard this sentence from mummy... said daddy "play pretend"....

History - My Pacifier

I said bye-bye to my lovely pacifier on 6 April 2009, when I was 1omths old. I got 6 pacifiers (Pigeon), stage 1 - 2 orange, 2 red & 2 green pacifiers. Mommy still keep 2pcs in the drawer & she said want to present to me when I am 21 years old. But I don think mommy will remember this 21 years old present because she is a very forgetful mommy! Maybe 2 years later she already not able to find this pacifiers, haha!

Mommy always very proud to telling around that I never go with pacifier since I was exactly 10mths old. Bravo Oscar!

You know why I am able to wean off the pacifier? This is because mommy will reminds me daily:"Boy! Can you please don't use the pacifier? It is so ugly as you are a boy! You look very pampered like ah girl when you suck the pacifier you know......"

Well... I don't want to look girlish thus the most important is I don't want mommy keep repeating the same sentence to me everyday. So I am glad to follow what mommy said. Goodbye! My Pacifier!

Bandana & Hip Hop Oscar

This Bandana design is very cute! As I heard many people said so. I think mommy must be very happy when hear this because she try so hard only can put up this on my head. Well... I met with this 'big uncle' @ Genting First World Plaza in the Nike shop. I like him very much so I keep smile to him. Maybe he felt that I am a funny baby so he also snap a picture with me. hehe! I make new friends!

I met with this anty @ Genting First World Plaza on March 2009. We do not know her, but she is a very nice anty. She just come over us & ask mommy for permisson to snap picture with me. My pleasure! I hope I can meet with this anty again.
